Konnichiwa! This is my second look for the Asos collaboration and it happens to be my favorite Tokyo Fashion Week look. Now, I thought that this skirt might be too much (especially because I had to wear this look all day, also for the touristy activities in between shows), funny thing is that the opposite is true. I almost felt underdressed compare to the other bloggers from Tokyo. Still, I love love love this skirt to the moon and back and I think it is the most extravagant piece I own!
Tokyo was our first destination of our Japan trip. Right now I am in Osaka, slowly approaching the end of this unbelievable journey. 5 more days to go and I feel like i have to say good-bye already. Especially, to the food here, but perhaps that is for the better, because I have definitely gained some weight here eating everything cute and nice that we see every 5 minutes. I literally go crazy when I visit a local supermarket or the 7eleven. I keep telling myself that it is okay, because you are on vacay.. but now I see my tummy grow I faintly regret this decision. Gotta upgrade my diet and work out regime when I get back next week! Pinky swear!
Anyhow, I am glad Fashion Week was at the beginning of our vacay, otherwise I couldn’t rock this skirt like this I think *lol. I got a lot of compliments, with someone calling me a ‘Metropolitan mermaid’ and a lot of people asked me on Instagram where this skirt is from. Well, the word is out! It’s from ASOS! When I saw this skirt in their webshop, I was instantly obsessed with it and I knew I had to bring it with me to Japan.
As a little tribute to the fact that I am in Japan, more specifically in Tokyo back then, I paired the striking skirt with this ‘appropriate’ casual tee. I also got to play with another Heel up accessory, the Furry French.
Alright, Sayonara for now. Ending this post with the message on the back of my tee:
‘Dont forget to be awesome!’
