Biotherm lotion
Lush Grease Lightning
paula's choice sun block spf50

Biotherm bodylotion

€23,41 Biotherm

I can never have enough body milk. This one from Biotherm is silky and lightweight, good for everyday hydration. It has a subtle citrus scent and it’s not sticky. The pump on the bottle is made for lazy people like me to use it on a daily basis. The pump might be a small thing, but it definitely makes me use this body lotion often and more than the others that I have lined up.

Spot treatment

€9,95 Lush

I really take care of my skin. I have fairly easy skin to work with which I can’t really complain about. Every few weeks, usually during my period or when I have too many deadlines, I get a pimple in my T-zone.
Then I use this Grease Lightning spot treatment from Lush at night before I go to bed and I can see a big difference the next morning already. My big pimple will be away after 2-3 nights, while normally it will take over a week to get rid of.

Paula's Choice SPF 50

€26,- Paula's Choice

I think since a year I made sunscreen a mandatory step of my daily skincare routine before I apply makeup. The damage of the sun, really has a big impact on your aging skin, even if it’s not sunny. Therefore I apply SPF50 from Paula’s Choice, also because I use Hyaluronic acid serum from The Ordinary.

Becca Hydra Mist Set
Jo Malone London Star Magnolia

Giorgio Armani Liquid Concealer

€36,72 Giorgio Armani

It’s my favorite concealer at the moment for under my eyes and all the red spots. It blends amazingly with your skin while giving you high coverage to hide imperfections without feeling you’re wearing too much.

I bring this Giorgio Armani liquid concealer everywhere in my purse, perfect for touch ups!

Becca Hydra Mist Set & Refresh Powder

€18,99 Becca

Becca Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh powder is a translucent setting powder, 50% water and glycerin. The first thing that makes me love the product is the lightweight feel of a water mist with a silky smooth finish that will prolong the makeup wear.

I don’t use this powder every day, because I don’t like to wear products on my face other than some foundation. But when I know I have a long day ahead, going to a party or a photoshoot I brush a thin layer over my face and it will stay for the longest time!

Jo Malone London Star Magnolia

€58,72 Jo Malone London

Jo Malone London is one of my favorite perfume brands that I have praised it on many blog posts already. My ultimate favorite one is English Pear & Fresia.

The latest addition to my Jo Malone London family is the Star Magnolia. This one is light, perfect for Spring and Summer days and easy to layer with other Jo Malone London cologne.

Trevor Noah Born a crime
The four agreements
When they see us

Trevor Noah - Born a Crime

From €5,49 on Bol.com

A book about the life of Trever Noah, a South African comedian and host of the Daily Show. A must listen audiobook, as Trevor Noah reads the book himself. A compelling story about him growing up in the apartheid in South Africa with so much humor.

Noah was born a crime, as he is a son of a white father and a black mother, at a time this was punishable by a five-year prison.

I learned a lot about the culture and history and felt very inspired by his memoire.

Don Miguel Ruiz - The four agreements

From €10,77 on Bol.com

A book explaining 4 basic principles to live by:

1. Be impeccable with your word
2. Don’t take anything personal
3. Don’t make assumptions
4. Always do your best

If you apply this, it will make your life so much easier!

When they see us (Netflix Serie)

A must see Netflix mini serie When they see us. The series is based on a true story about the Central Park Jogger case in 1989. Five boys were wrongly prosecuted on charges of the rape and assault of a woman in Central Park, NYC.

It will make you angry, but everyone should see this and then watch the interview with Oprah Winfrey afterward, titled Oprah Winfrey Presents When They See Us Now. The cast and the exonerated five are interviewed here.

Minyak Gosok
Princess kleding stomer

Minyak Gosok

From €4,25 at Asian supermarkets

Minyak Gosok is an ancient Indonesian remedy. I call it a miracle oil. It’s good for so many things. Use it on mosquito (insect) bites, wounds, relieves back pain, sprains, burns, colds, etc.

My brother tested this out on his processionary caterpillar rashes and the redness and itchiness were almost gone after 1 day!
You can find Minyak Gosok at most Asian Supermarkets.

AH Triple Choc cookies

I present to you my new crack. I bought chocolate cookies from Albert Heijn by accident and I am hooked on it ever since. They are soooo good! Try!!

Princess clothes steamer

€60 via Bol.com

I hate to iron my clothes. It’s definitely not one of my talents. So I was really happy when I got this clothes steamer last Christmas. It’s fast and easy to use. Now I finally wear clothes without wrinkles anymore.

This one from Princess is relatively cheap, and it’s good for thin fabrics. So it’s perfect for all my t-shirts and some trousers. For thicker fabrics like denim, it’s still better to use the ironer.

Vestiaire Collective

Vestiaire Collective

My love for designer items. I have been to a Vestiare Collective event before, where they explained how thoroughly the processes are from the seller to the buyer. You can trust their experts to physically verifying and authenticating the sold items.

It’s my guilty pleasure to scroll through the website daily. I bought quite some designer pieces on Vestiaire, like my Celine Trapeze bag, Chanel necklace, Celine backpack, Temperly London belt, etc.

Lately, I am quite bored with the fashion I see in stores. It is all starting to look the same at some point. Every few months I put an order at YesStyle.com, with “cheap” fashion from Asia. The downside is that it’s still fast fashion and the shipping takes about 3 weeks to The Netherlands. Oh, and it takes a lot of time to select items, as the collections are endless! Nonetheless, I find pretty unique pieces for great quality. Let me know if you would like to see a shop haul from YesStyle.

Olvi's online collection
Address: Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat 15, 1071 BL Amsterdam

Looking for a lace dress for your wedding or to attend one? Olvi’s has plenty of dreamy options for you. If you have the chance, try on a few dresses in their flagship store in Amsterdam. It’s a beautiful boutique in the PC Hooftstraat.
I was lucky to get this gorgeous gown gifted. I think I will wear it at the rehearsal dinner for my wedding. Either way, I will find a purpose for it!
