8 Favorites From June ’21

Lily's June favorites

June

Hi my friends! One of the longest times I haven’t blogged. I started the year optimistic to pick this up, but as soon as the wedding stress kicked in, it was pretty quiet on the content creation side. With the wedding pressure off my shoulders now, I slowly ease into my routine as a content creator.
I really can’t wait to receive the content from our day, so I can show it all to you here. I can tell you that it was a beautiful day and I couldn’t ask for anything more. It was perfect!

Before we go into the wedding vibes, I start with my monthly favorites. I decided to go with my favorite 8 instead of 10, because 8 is such a lucky feng shui number in the Chinese culture ;) Enjoy!!

Paula's choice

1. Paula's Choice - Hyaluronic Acid

€39,00 | via Paula's Choice

I have a normal to dry skin type. This Hyaluronic Acid Booster gives me a huge moisture boost. This product hydrates your skin and locks in moisture. After using this product, you will immediately notice what a radiant and smoother effect it has on your face!

Some key features of this product:
- restores moisture balance
- softens fine lines and wrinkles

With the first wrinkles showing already, I use this product to slow down the process a bit. It’s a great addition to any skin routine!

Kora organics Tumeric glow moisterizer

Kora Organics Tumeric glow moisterizer

€45,99| via Douglas

I am a huge fan of the entire Kora Organics collection, because it’s cruelty free, certified organic, and natural. I couldn’t wait to try this product when it was launched. Besides the stunning refill pod (so you don’t have to waste the luxe jar), it’s an ultra rich cream for a radiant glow. The Turmeric Glow Moisturizer uses an innovative liposome that specifically targets the hyperpigmentation, dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles. Will definitely keep refilling it in the coming years.

Dyson corrale hair straightener

 Dyson Corrale hair straightener

€499,00 |  via Douglas

When you think of Dyson you know its top-notch technology. The Dyson Corrale is no exception, you can even create your own style with less heat, so 50% less hair damage.

The Dyson Corrale hair straightener is a real travel buddy for my hair since you can use it cordless. Although I rarely straighten my hair, I mostly use the Dyson Corrale to create waves or for touch-ups.
It’s an investment piece to create amazing hair styles.

Matcha parfum - Margiela

Matcha parfum - Margiela

€97.00 | via Bijenkorf

I love matcha! I never expected that I would ever want to smell like matcha haha, but this eau de toilette has a lovely fresh summery scent. The fragrance notes that triggered me the most are Matcha, Jasmine, Cedarwood, and Bergamot. It’s not too strong and very unique. Just how I like it!

Vascobello koffie cups for the machine

Vascobelo koffie cups for the machine

€3,95 | via Vascobelo

I regularly order a nice cup of coffee and a pastéis de nata at Vasco Belo cafés. I didn’t know they have so much more in their assortment which you can order online, like chocolates and these compostable coffee cups which I can put in my Nespresso machine.

Their latest addition in the webshop are wines! I think you will make somebody really happy with a gift from Vasco Belo.

I have a 15% discount code on Vascobelo products ''LILY15''. You're welcome :)

Youseum

€19,95 per ticket Youseum Amsterdam

It’s so nice that museums are open again for the public. I was invited to explore the Youseum in Amsterdam. Check out the Reel I made, where you can see some of the awesome rooms! Every visitor gets a tour of 60-75 minutes. Go here with some fun friends to be creative in this fun playground.

Bubble milk tea mochi

Bubble Milk tea Mochi

€2,95| www.amazingsanglee.nl

I aim to do an (asian) snack review on my Instagram Stories every week. Just because I am such a curious “vreetzak” (sorry, I don’t know how to translate this :D).

As a bubble tea lover, I was incredibly excited to see the bubble milk tea mochi on the shelves. The flavour is very nice but it could be more chewiness for my taste. Although I like this version already, I was hoping for the actual tapioca bubble in the middle. Maybe I should send this suggestion to them hehe.

The Sweethouse Amsterdam

 @TheSweethouseAmsterdam

The Sweethouse Amsterdam is a home bakery business where you can order delicious cakes and cookies for pick up on Fridays and Saturdays. Mee is a talented pastry chef and her creations aren't only pleasing for the eyes, but it tastes heavenly. She sent me a few to try at first. I was hooked on it right away and made a new order that same weekend again!
You can order via DM on Instagram or via email. The menu changes every month, so definitely keep an eye on her Instagram.
