Whenever I discover something that I am super excited about, I love to share it with everyone around me including the world :)

I can’t even recall when I listened to my first podcast on my phone and exactly which podcast it was.
I have wondered what the “podcast” app was on my phone, but I have never really paid too much attention to it.
Until recently, I just stumbled on an Oprah’s podcast on Youtube and I was really inspired by it. I decided to see what’s the fuss was about, so I followed “the SuperSoul Conversations” from Oprah on the app.

Needless to say, I was hooked to it. I have asked around what other podcasts people recommended and I listen to a few now faithfully.

Listening to podcast has become part of my routine. I listen to it when I am making my breakfast and doing my make up or when I am on a bike or in a tram. I don’t really work out anymore (this will change soon), but I can imagine listening to a podcast while doing cardio.

To me, a podcast makes it easier to get through the boring stuff while being inspired and learning new things. I swear, I get so many new ideas when I listen to “How it’s made” when I am biking to the office.

Clearly I am super excited about this discovery! I wanted to share my favorites with you in this post, to get you started. And if you already listen to podcasts, please please please let me know what your favorites are ;)

I am a true Apple user, a fan! I recently got the Apple Watch to play with and I love wearing it. I have a couple of wrist-bands to switch to match my outfits. Also, I got the iPhone X and the airpods. All very handy for the podcasts ;)

Supersoul sunday

Oprah. This woman should be president. She is so wise and good. In her podcasts she talks a lot about spirituality, life lessons and positivity.

“Awaken, discover and connect to the deeper meaning of the world around you with SuperSoul. Hear Oprah’s personal selection of her interviews with thought-leaders, best-selling authors, spiritual luminaries, as well as health and wellness experts. All designed to light you up, guide you through life’s big questions and help bring you one step closer to your best self.”

I am always a step closer to a mindful life after each episode.

The life coach school

Every podcast is a coach session by master coach instructor Brook Castillo.
This podcast is the go-to resource for learning and growing.

Every episode she tackles a subject, for example: drama, indecisiveness, how to Not be shy, urges etc.
It’s a really cheap way to have a coach and I think it’s effective, at least to be aware of your own flaws.

How I built this

Guy Raz dives into the stories behind some of the world’s best known companies. How I Built This shares a narrative journey about innovators, entrepreneurs and idealists—and the movements they built.

I always listen to an episode when I am on the bike or in the tram on my way to the office. By the time I am at the office I often have so many new ideas for my business. So it’s really recommended for entrepreneurs!

Casey Neistat is well-known from his successful Youtube channel with over 10 million subscribers. Casey and his wife Candice discuss candidly the ups and downs of their marriage, friendship, parenting, and lives in the YouTube spotlight in their “weekly” podcast.

I follow Casey for a while and I am a fan of his work. I do think this podcast is mostly fun and relevant if you know them.
I like to get to know them even better by listening about their vision on life.
