In September I flew to Florence for a short weekend to review Villa le Maschere. Besides the hotel we had an afternoon to explore Florence city, hence the title. We didn’t have a game plan for the afternoon, so we decided to get lost in the alleys with hidden gems like cute restaurants and boutiques or sitting on a bench at a lively squares to enjoy the scenery of a beautiful Italian duomo.
The trip was too short to sum up the greatest things for you, however this photo diary gives you a taste of Florence. What I can conclude in the hours spent here, is that the food and the architecture are worth the trip already. I am sure I will be back one day to see the rest.
