The third quarter of the year is done. Gosh, this year is such a crazy ride of ups and downs. A year we will never forget. I am typing this like it’s the end of the year already, but I bet I will feel the same in three months, which will be in a blink of an eye.
Honestly, September feels like a blur to me. Mostly, I cuddled Mochi like crazy hehe.. Furthermore, I went to a few events again and tried a lot of new products. The rest you will find out soon in my “Catch up with Lily” articles :D
Here are my 10 favorites from last month!
Giorgio Armani, My Way
€71.00 | via De Bijenkorf
Armani Beauty’s new perfume, My Way, is so capturing. The deep dark blue stone that sits on top of the talisman bottle is a representation of the universal colour of our planet. I love the feminine scent it gives, a feel of jasmine and warm vanilla. One of the best things about this perfume is that is truly designed to be sustainable, as they have refill options: you might just never have to buy another perfume again.
Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
€24.99 | via Laboratory-K
I never thought snail slime would be something to add to my skincare routine but here I am, recommending it to you! The Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is a hydrating essence containing 96% snail slime to soothe the skin and repair damage. I like that it doesn’t feel heavy and improves skin elasticity! This is great for both morning and evening after cleansing your face. All you have to do is pat the product into your skin and then apply serums and a moisturiser on top.
Don’t F**k With Cats
Watch via Netflix
I was lost for words at the end of watching Don’t F**k with Cats. Don’t be fooled by the name, it’s not about cute cats. The documentary is about chasing one of Canada’s worst murderers, Luka Magnotta. It is so interesting and scary to see what Magnotta did, especially with the videos he posted online. If you’re interested in true-crime docuseries, this is one not to miss.
UNIQLO U Collection – Comfy
€24.99 | via Uniqlo
Uniqlo’s new collection, U, is one not to miss out on. The U collection, designed by Christophe Lemaire, is made to create a simple, modern wardrobe. I love Uniqlo for it’s heat-tech clothes for the winter so I was excited to see what this collection brings. I chose a set of black sweatpants and a sweater, which I will also buy in white. This outfit is perfect while working at home but can still be easily styled to wear out.
Rings – & Other Stories
€15.00 | via & Other Stories
I love minimal rings that I can style and layer with. This eye pendant stone ring is a great staple to style. I especially love the green precious stone as it adds some color to all the gold pieces I usually wear. The great thing about rings from & Other Stories is that they are affordable, have different sizes, and are nickel tested. If you’re looking for everyday rings, you’ll definitely find one here.
Green Mango & Lemon Ice Bar
€8.49 | via Amazing Oriental
We may be in autumn now but summer habits are still with me. This green mango and lemon ice bar is so tasty! It’s so refreshing and has even got mango bits in the lolly. The flavour might be unusual but it’s definitely worth a try.
Mong Lee Shang Coconut Sago Dessert
€1.09 | via Amazing Oriental
This coconut sago dessert in a can is so nice to have after dinner. No preparation needed, it’s a ready-to-drink dessert with coconut milk and sago pearls. This is a stable Asian dessert and I’m so glad I’ve found it as a drink. This can be drank cold or even heated up.
Huidenstraat 32, 1016 ET Amsterdam | Directions here
I’m always a fan of K-beauty. Korean products are typically natural-looking and contain harsh-free ingredients. I am so happy that a new Korean cosmetics store has popped up in Amsterdam! They launched their store this month and it stunning, you can read more about my visit here. This is where I got the snail serum that I recommended above.
You can also check out their online store here.
Day Trip to Middelburg
Read more about Middelburg here
We took a trip down to Middelburg for a day. With our friends, we had a delicious lunch at De Juf and did some sightseeing around the city. I particularly loved the umbrella street. As you can see, the street looks so beautiful with the floating umbrellas and greenery on the buildings.
On my latest post, I also talked more about my trip to Middelburg.
