3 Looks 1 PantsLast year I caught myself always shopping new trends and items for the blog. Fashion is my work, but I do want to find a balance in this since fast fashion has big consequences for the environment. I don’t claim that I am already there yet. In fact, it’s far from it.I definitely need to educate myself much more about this important topic and do way more brand researches in the future. But unfortunately, I can’t stop cold turkey and cut it out of my life just yet. And thus, I need a strategy..Gradually I try to make small changes to a more sustainable future. For example, I borrow lots of the clothes that you see here from agencies instead of owning so much clothes in my extremely packed closet. When I do buy something, I want to make sure that I get a lot of “wearings” out of it. Hence this blog post, stimulating diverse styles with a single piece. In this case I bought this track pants during sale season. I am really happy with this purchase and I have been wearing it quite often ever since. The style and color are easy to pair and these pants are just too comfy for words.Let me know if you would like to see me style a specific item. Challenge accepted ;)
LOOK 1 : CASUAL FRIDAY
The first look I created is a casual one that you might catch me wearing during the week. I would wear this to the office day, to run some errands, or whenever I feel like wearing something comfy. My laptop fits into the big Gucci tote bag with many more things that I carry on a daily basis!
And to finish off the look, I added a pair of Puma Cali sneakers that would allow me to walk all day comfortably. Also if you know me well enough, you’d know that I would not leave the house without a hat these days :)
LOOK 2 : MEETINGS-READY
Yes, you did not read it wrong. These pants can also be used in a formal look if being paired with the right items. I opted for this checkered blazer with a structured cutting. I would use this look for a meeting, hence the pumps. Statement pumps as it keeps you professional-looking yet stylish at the same time.
LOOK 3 : FASHION EVENT
As Fashion Week season has just started, this can be your outfit inspiration.
I chose this top from H&M with its ruffles and laces that definitely gave me the kind of drama that I wanted.
I matched the top with the ivory colored boots from Asos and the track pants with this snake-printed bag, thus make this outfit extra enough eventhough there’s only two tones in it.
