Weekend in Heidelberg

Last month I went with my blogger darling Larissa to Heidelberg to rewind from Fashion Week. This was actually my second time here in town, so I knew what to expect from this romantic little place in Germany. It’s a place with character. The old town is a car free zone. The Baroque architecture, the old bridge and castle will delusion yourself back in time.

We have been working a lot actually during this trip. I know Heidelberg has so much to offer, so I should go back for a third time. Enjoy my snaps during this stay.

De Studentenkuss is a local chocolate delight, originated here in Heidelberg generations ago. It has a brilliant story behind (google it ;)), which makes it the perfect Heidelberg souvenir to buy.

Tea time with Larissa. Conditorei cafe is a huge lunchroom. I ordered a veggie quiche and Larissa picked the piggie lol.

Hans im glück
Hans im glück is a burger restaurant with a lovely ambiance, decorated like you are in a bamboo forest (see video). They have a wide range of choices on the menu. The sweet potatoes here are very delicious. Hans im gluck heidelberg burger restaurant

Emma Café-Bar
A nice place to have your coffee fix. I ordered a ‘dirty chai’, a chai tea with coffee.
