Hi guys! Today I want to share my story about the very interesting Saturday night that I had! As you might know already, I was lucky enough to attend the fashionshow of Amsterdam Fashion Week, the SuperTrash Big Bang show! As this is my very first fashion show ever (!), you can imagine how ecstatic I was about this night!
Because of the unexpected winning of the tickets, I couldn’t fix a replacement for my work at my parent’s store on Saturday. Luckily I was able to leave a few hours earlier from work in Eindhoven, to rush back home in Amsterdam to get ready! I managed to pick my outfit (I had a few options in mind), doing my hair (oh funny thing.. NOT.. My curling iron chose to be broken this day of all days!!) and make up (I literally had 5 min to do my nails with my coat on and everything before we left).
Anyhow, not important these details. Let’s tune in on the event. The show was held in the Sugarfactory, very industrial, such an impressive location for the show. Nigel and I arrived there way on time, as it was only 10 minutes away from our apartment. But I was glad with that. We took some wine (wooo, there was an open bar!) and got us a sweet spot in the launch while the other guest were arriving. The show was delayed, but that was fine by me, because the ‘pre party’ was so fun already. My gosh, it was like a pre fashion show, everyone looked stunning fashionable that night!
The venue was packed! After the seating chaos, I was soooo ready for this!!! Whoop whoop!! The show did not disappoint me in any way at all! The lights, the music, the models and more importantly the collection were all on point, it was SPECTACULAR!!! (I am sorry for using a lot of exclamation marks, otherwise I cannot express how COOL this all was! hihi..)
The theme was out of space. The collection is about power women. I would describe this collection (actually Supertrash in general) as ‘sexy with class’. It was either ‘shine bright like a diamond’, showing sexy curves with a design detail, or edgy black or navy blue (often with leather).
Thank you Fashionchick to make this all possible! It was a show to remember!

I can’t believe I haven’t captured my outfit properly for a post. I was sooo mesmerized by everything. It’s a rookie mistake.. Won’t happen again ;) Today I am attending an other fashion show from Said Mahrouf. I will make sure to make some pics of my outfit. This will be a totally different show I think. Nevertheless I am SUPER excited to be there! Will keep you posted oke?! :)
