Bonjour! A weekend away to keep my mind off was what I needed. Unfortunately the flu got to me the day we left The Netherlands for France. I ended up with a fever when we arrived in Reims, but with a lot of medicine behind, I was determined to not let that spoil this wonderful weekend.
The next day we continued our road trip to a scenic place, called Dijon, where the wedding took place. It is the very first traditional French wedding that I have witnessed. I am super happy for the two lovebirds, Annie & Julien, whom tied their love together last Saturday. More about this festive event in a diary post this week. First I wanted to show you my favorite shoot so far, that we freshly made yesterday!
I am going to Paris at least once a year, because I just adore this city so damn much! Every time I keep seeing new sights of Paris, there is so much more to explore. That’s why I always can’t wait to go back for new adventures.
This time we let ourselves get lost in the streets of the historic ‘Le Marais’ (Jewish) district, because I have heard so many good stories about this place. I have to say that those rumours are so true! I can’t believe I have never been here before!! If you are going to Paris, this is definitely a highly recommended place to go! Everything there is very Paris. There are a lot of great shops, street artists, architectural buildings, food, cultural activities AND secret gardens!
Oh my, I knew I had to do a shoot here at the hidden garden of the Carnavalet museum. The setting, the outfit, the light.. I couldn’t be happier with all the circumstances. That’s why I love Paris so much, this city is so mysterious, you always discover something new on your adventures. Let the unknown surprise you.
