ROB PEETOOM MAKE-UP & HAIR

Rob Peetoom

I go to Rob Peetoom once in a while to have my hair and eyebrows done. I love to go to their salons because of the quality of the products and the professionals. I can totally surrender myself in their hands and enjoy the treatments.

Last week I went to Rob Peetoom in Eindhoven to have another relaxed indulgent afternoon. Most of you must know Rob Peetoom already, because they are pretty famous in the hair branch (in The Netherlands). Not everyone knows that they offer more than just hair treatments. Make up is their other speciality. I was lucky enough to get pampered that day by having my hair and make up done.

It was at Rob Peetoom that I got to know the brand Youngblood. I was already convinced of this brand knowing that Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Alba (just to drop some names) are using their make up as well. It is organic, not tested on animals AND perfect for all ages and skin types (even for women with sensitive or problem skins). Why wouldn’t we love this brand?

We decided to go for a natural look, as I wanted to learn how I can apply this make up for a daily basis. And how cool is it that you can buy the products by clicking on the ‘+’! It feels like I am owning a webshop these days ;) But if you want to be sure of the colors, feel free to stop by at Rob Peetoom to see it for yourself and ask the experts!

1. Face
The ‘eye impact’ cream, gives your eyes a wakeup call for revived, fresher-looking eyes. The mineral primer will help makeup stay-put all day long and helps to protect your skin from environmental damage.

The superior quality Mineral Makeup products from Youngblood dramatically improve the look of any complexion giving the illusion of clear, healthy blemish free skin. I especially love the glow after applying their moisture (light as bb-cream).

2. Eyes
I never been a hero of putting eye shadow myself, therefore I usually stick to one color. Nice to have this picture as reference to try it at home next time :) Celine used the ‘Shang Hai nights’ quad and the ‘Willow press’ eyeshadow to create this look. But Youngblood has a wide range of other award winning natural mineral eyeshadow colors.

3. Eyebrows
Not to long ago I went to Rob Peetoom already for an eyebrow Anastasia treatment (check it here). Because my eyebrows were already shaped, it was just a matter of filling the brows to make it more prominent.

4. Colors
The finishing touch of the make up session was to add a little bit of colors. Some on the cheeks and the liner and lipstick on the lips. It still looks very natural with a healthy blush.

5. Hair
The one thing that I absolutely adore at Rob Peetoom is letting them create an artwork of my hair. I have been a model for them a few times now during their training days, from hair cuts, hair coloring to bride hairdos, it always looks super cute!

This hairdo is easy to duplicate. Make sure you use something before the ironer to protect your hair from the heat. At Rob Peetoom they use the Biosilk from Chi. For the waves you need a curling iron, preferably the biggest size. Then, grab all your hair to one side and put in a few bobby pins to make it stay. Finishing the hair with the Redken hairspray! Tadaaaa…!

Thank you Rob Peetoom for spoiling me this afternoon. Can’t wait to shoot the next collaboration ;)
