— Update —
In the plane, 11 hour flight back to Amsterdam. Didn’t I just posted an article that I go to America? Gosh, if I look back to our adventure, we indeed have done tons of fun things, yet it feels like I just blinked my eyes!
I used to get very very very sad to go home after weeks of traveling. I seriously get into a little dip afterwards for weeks.
Not that I want to go home already, but I can happily look back to the amazing time in Cali. I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to do this. With every trip I add to my list, I appreciate the experience even more. Plus, I can enjoy it a little longer through working on the content that you will see the coming weeks.
— Road trip —
Road trips are my favorite travels with my boyfriend. I honestly love the endless hours on the road, sitting next to him. We sing songs together, philosophizing about weird and normal subjects, I work on my articles and the best part is making pit stops whenever we feel like it.
And that was a lot during this road trip! This was really a dream road trip with so many breath taking (unexpected) sceneries. You can never miss a place too long, because the next exiting adventure was literally on the horizon.
So we were driving from Grand Canyon to Joshua Tree Park, in the middle of nowhere. It was and endless empty road. It looked like a movie! My boyfriend pulled over and said: “you have to do a shoot here!”. So we did, in 40+ desert degrees! Love the wanderlust butterflies I get when I look back at these photos.
..because the next exiting adventure was literally on the horizon..
— The look —
The road trip look was really about the comfy casual. I was wearing my new top with my trusted levi’s shorts. I love the retro vibes of the sunnies that I bought in LA at a random boutique. The hat was the wanderlust touch of this look. Ready for the next destination!
