RELAXIN’ IN MEXICO

Relaxin' in Mexico by Hashtagbylily
After a few days of seeking adventures, we were pretty tired and still not over our jet lag yet. We didn’t want to end up being so exhausted that we needed a vacation from a vacation. So we decided to add a relaxin’ ‘doing nothing’ day, which contained some chilling at the pool with delicious cocktails, strolling around 5th avenida to do some souvenir shopping and had a lovely dinner together including a romantic sunset walk on the beach. Yes, another perfect day if you ask me :)

One of the benefits of doing nothing is that I finally found the time to peacefully read a book. I am currently reading ‘Eat pray love’ from Elizabeth Gilbert. Speaking of coincidence, it was actually on tv yesterday. I have recorded the film and I will watch it when I have finished the book. I don’t want to spoil it, because so far the book is great! Although I don’t really recognize myself in the story line, I can totally relate to her philosophies about life. It makes me think about the little things in life and appreciate those even more. I am a slow reader, as I am still in the first part ‘eat’ from her life. Who knows what kind of wisdom I will gain in the other two chapters. So far so good ;)

Anyhow, I have done some shopping before Mexico. Including this H&M dress and Zara cross-bag. Just right before we wanted to shoot these pics I saw this hat at a random tourist shop. As you can see, it matches perfectly with the outfit and since it is almost a necessity for a fashionista to own a good summer hat when you are on holiday, I had no choice then to pay the 8 euros for it ;). I mean, come on, a good hat makes even the dullest outfit stylish! I have worn this hat every day since then.
