A place I need to visit at least once a year is Paris! This diary is from 3 months ago already and I am about to go to Paris in 3 weeks again! :) Anyhow, this was a little birthday getaway, because I didn’t really want to celebrate it. Looking back at this diary I see we did so much in only 1,5 day. I love these productive trips where I can combine work with pleasure.

Hotel Crayon Rouge review
In collaboration with Hotel Crayon we shot photos for an article, see here. It’s such an adorable boutique hotel to stay at with the best location!
I have this thing with doors. Parisian doors are surely the best to pose at ;)
Peninsula Hotel (afternoon tea)
Oh my. This hotel is next level! I was invited to have an afternoon tea here to get to know this hotel, including a little tour. They somehow found out that it was my birthday and surprised me with a live piano happy birthday song and fireworks. The perfect birthday gift, thank you so much thoughtful Peninsula hotel :)
I think the Peninsula hotel is the most luxurious hotel I have ever witnessed. The suites are all incorporated with high tech widgets and it’s decorated in a modern classy style. I hope I can stay at this place one day to have the full experience, because the afternoon tea left me longing for more..
View from the Champ Elisee
We met up with my friend Juan and his friends. The good thing of knowing local people is that they know the hotspots in town. For dinner we went to this Cafe for a delicious affordable French meal. I ordered duck breast.
Photoshoot at Palais Royal
Dream location, sunny day, the right outfit and the best photographer. Check out the result of my favorite shoot ever, here.
Centre Georges Pompidou Square
Dame Tartine restaurant
A delicious French lunch, a salmon tartine, at Dame Tartine. This restaurant is located on the touristy Georges Pomipidou square.
Pompidou museum view
After lunch we went up on the Pomidou museum deck. From here we enjoyed another beautiful skyline view of Paris. You can see many Paris icons from up here, like the Eiffel tower and the Sacre Coeur.
Our hotel was near the Louvre. After we got our luggages to leave town, I slipped into a new outfit to quickly shoot another look for the blog, see here. I just couldn’t resist and I loved the result during the golden hours. So, I left with a very satisfying Paris weekend away. See you very soon again amour.
I love these productive trips where I can combine work with pleasure.
