It always amazes me how much we manage to do and to see with our little getaways. You must have read about my Fashion Week fail (here) by now, but as you can see we didn’t get bored at all! Exploring the popular Saint Germain, having fun in the ShopStyle social house for influencers, photoshoot with Juan Jerez, visited Paul Smith’s showroom, ate lots of yummy food, bummed into Aimee Song from Song of Style.. An epic weekend in Paris you can say. Enjoy!

We were staying at Saint Germain and I fell in love with this neighborhood. Not done exploring the vibrant streets here (especially by night) with many cafes and boutiques. For breakfast we obviously had to go for the delicious cliché croissant.

I passed by this palace a few times before, but never took the time to go inside. You know the admission is free here? This was the place for a second shoot with Juan Jerez here. You guys, I can’t wait to show you the shoot in the garden soon. It was magical!!
Pont Alexandre III
I don’t know about you, but it’s mandatory for me to see the Eiffel tower when in Paris. A glimpse is enough.
We were spoilt with a beautiful sunset while walking in the Tuileries garden. You have to ask my boyfriend how many times I said “OMG sooo beautiful”!! Picture perfect.
Tried this hotspot in Le Marais. It was SUPER busy on a Saturday night, luckily we managed to try the burgers here without a reservation.
Address: 38 Rue de Bretagne, 75003 Paris
It’s not totally a hotel. Check out the full review of Sweet inn St Germain –> here
‘Une baguette’ is the best accessory in France :P
Shopstyle Social House
Bloggers paradise in Paris! An insane gorgeous mansion to meet fellow bloggers, do your hair, make up, nails, borrow clothes, work and lots of yummy food during Fashion Week. Too I didn’t have enough time to spend here. Next time I will make sure to stay here a full day at least. Thanks for having me Shopstyle!
Always come back to Le Marais for some shopping and discover new hotspots.
Paul Smith showroom
Quick stop at Paul Smith’s showroom! I was drooling over the FW’16 collection, with feminine investment pieces. I love it the collection also incorporated fun prints like apples. My favorite is the jacket below with the bright orange collar.
Alma the chimney cake factory
We tried these rolls on the streets of Prague (see here) before and until this day my boyfriend is still craving a chimney roll. So when I found out about Alma that makes these delicious rolls in even more variations, we simply had to try before we went back to Amsterdam.
This trip ended very epic btw. After Alma we walked back to our car and I bummed into Aimee from Song of Style. It was just a few seconds and I got so star struck that I could ask for a photo. She is my biggest blogger hero! I hope to bump into her again next season ;)
