It was a last minute decision to go to London and I am so glad I did. It was blogwise 3 productive and fun days, displayed in a little photo diary below.
My plane was delayed, so I missed the Burberry show from the outside. I saw the biggest bloggers passed by and even some celebs. I met up with Larissa, Meau and Ashlee at the venue and did a little shoot afterwards.
River Island Studio
Then we took the Uber to River Island, which is located on Oxford street. We were invited for a styling session in the River Island Studio. The studio looks really nice, like a vip lounge. You can make an appointment yourself there (for free), enhance your shopping experience and let the stylist help you find the perfect outfit.
It was an honor to be invited by The Apartment this season. It’s a place for influencers to get ready, hang out and to work. I didn’t really know what to expect, but the leather clutch invite from Aspinal promised lots!!
And yep, I landed in bloggers heaven. There is food, beauty and fashion in one place with even a cubical to do a power nap. Boohoo gave bloggers workshops every day at the rooftop garden, which I unfortunately missed. Oh and everything here was Instagram worthy. I wanted to hang out here all day errrday. Can’t wait for next season!
Meet up with Diana
I went for a late night coffee date with Diana from dianacloudlet.com, a blogger from Russia whom I met last year during LFW. It was such a pleasure to see this lovely girl again with her husband.
I couldn’t wait to get back to the Apartment again, so that was the first thing I did. Breakfast was served and I had more time to chat with everyone. Got my make up done here by Amy for Young Blood and hair done by Nadine for Wella.
Between presentations with fashion week fun with Larissa
I met up with Larissa and Meau to go to the Tata Naka presentation and one other of which I can’t remember the designer anymore *whoops. The Tata Naka collection was very tropical with vibrant colors.
We planned a shoot with Igrien from Avantguadian.com, who recently moved to London from Amsterdam. You will see more from this shoot in a separate article.
Aarh can’t find my notes, I can’t remember the name of this designer. Sorryy!!
Fashion week was over on Wednesday. I took the opportunity to go Push PR to get to know the brands they represent. I have seen a lot of cool conscious brands and their team was really friendly to show us around.
A quick stop at Covent garden to have a Shack stack burger (or three) with my boyfriend
Another shoot before departure. Unfortunately, it’s a shame I couldn’t make it to the Asos HQ this time due to my flight. But I will make sure to pay a visit there next time I am in town (which will be soon enough ;))
