Lily goes brugge

Only 2 and a half hour drive away from Amsterdam to go ‘back in time’ to see the adorable town called Brugge. This ancient town was on my to-go list for a while, so when I got the invite from Novotel Brugge Center to stay there for a weekend (read it here), I was happy to say yes to this!

Brugge is a place where you don’t need to know much upfront, because you will find it all out by strolling around town. Thank you guys by the way for all the great tips on Instagram. I have followed all your great advise :)

What I didn’t expect was the huge amount of chocolate and candy stores here! I went crazy at every boutique. If it was up to me (not my wallet and diet), I would have tried it all until I got sick. Everything is so beautifully displayed, you have to be very strong not to buy anything!

The buildings reminded me of Amsterdam, but much more vibrant. The massive proud of Brugge, The Belfort church, left a mark in my memory. Actually the whole main square was really cool to see. The horse-cars for the tourist tours completed the medieval sensation. There are a lot of photos of me with my phone in my hand, as I was ‘Snapchatting’ away that weekend. If you haven’t seen it yet, I uploaded the whole compilation below. Have fun enjoying Brugge through our lenses!
