I am lucky enough to have a partner in my life who supports my work in every single way. It’s not his favorite thing to do, but Nigel is responsible for most of my pictures on which I get many compliments. One of my most read post was a Q&A with him of 12 questions from an Instagram husband point of view (read it here).
We happened to be in London at the same time for work two weeks ago, our favorite city in Europe. Our favorite thing to-do is strolling around exploring one area per trip, hopping from hotspot to hotspot.
1. What would you choose if you have to pick Blog or Youtube?
Oeh.. this question is not fair. At the moment I am trying to focus more on Youtube, but the blog is my first love. I think they can go hand in hand without me having to pick a side. If I really really have to pick one now, I would go for Youtube perhaps. Just so that I can show you guys much more.
2. Most embarrassing moment
Those are a whole lot. I am the clumsiest of them all. There isn’t a day goes by that I don’t do something stupid. That can be trippin over something, spilling liquid over things, wearing clothes backwards etc.
Okay the most embarrassing one that I can remember is from a long time ago. I was on a bike to school and had to stop for a red sign. I never do it like this, but that only time I stepped off my bike like a man, you know, with one foot swinging over the bike. I accidentally stepped into the grocery bag of someone next to me, got stuck and fell. What’s the coincidence right?!
I can laugh about it now, but it was quite painful at the time! :P
3. If you look back when you started blogging, would you have though you would be successful?
Yeah, somehow I really believed in it. I gave the blog my 200% and tried to make a successful business out of it. I still think I am not there yet at all, but I just knew that I had to follow my heart and the rest will follow.
Though I am really proud of what I have achieved so far, I guess it’s never enough with ambitious hearts. I keep working towards more success :)
4.What female celebrity do you wish was your sister?
Jennifer Lopez! Hoping that we would look much alike too! :D
5. When was the last time you lied? and why?
Haha.. to my mum. I was late already. She called me where I was. I told her that I was on my way already, whilst I was getting ready to go still.. *not proud of this
6. What is your weirdest habit?
I have tons! To name one, I can’t take it when people eat chips with their whole hand. I pick them up, each chippy at the time with my thump and forefinger. Like a lady ;P Otherwise I get goosebumps and I go crazy hahaha.. I actually have a tool to eat chips at home lol. I will show it in my next vlog (here). It’s pretty hilarious.
I just don’t like to eat with my hands, only with Roti it is a must.
7. If you lived in a tribal society, what role would you play? (Hunter, gatherer, shaman, chieftain, etc.)
That’s a random question that only you can come up with. Maybe the entertainer! Is that a role too? :D I would like to have the role of a chieftain. Making strategies and delegate the tasks. I should put this in practice at home now :P
— The Look —
Not really planned this look in particular. I went shopping the day before at Topshop. It’s always a must stop when I am in London #guilty.
I bought 90% of what I am wearing here. The Feminist sweater is very soft and so powerful. I mean, who runs the world?! ;)
I think these pants are super cool, but I wasn’t sure I would dare to wear it. That’s why I styled it casually with sneakers and a sweater.
Lastly, ever since I borrowed the red beret from Linsey in Paris I wanted to have one myself. So I am a lost Parisienne in London here.
