As a fashion blogger based in the Netherlands, it was your call last Saturday to attend the ‘Ilovefashionbloggers Q&A event’ for so many reasons. It is funny to feel a bit star struck by the top bloggers, Yara Michels, Negin Miseili and Linda Tol. After hearing them talking about their experiences and sharing their knowledge, you could not NOT have respect for them and admiring them even more. These girls really know what they want and it is just very inspirational to see how they are living their dreams!
I could totally relate to their stories even though I am not quite there yet! Like, the priorities they put in their blogs, giving up a huge part of their social lives. I could totally dedicate 24/7 focus into the blog. Unfortunately it isn’t realistic. I am still figuring out how to combine the blog with my personal life and work. Which sounds soooo crazy, because in blog world speaking I’m technically still a ‘nobody’. And that’s oke haha.. (for now ;)) I mean, what do you expect in just a few months blogging and with the enormous amount of bloggers out there. But still.. it is something that I try to solve every day!
This event definitely gave me a lot to think about. I need a clear (realistic) vision to what I want to accomplish. Well.. I am working on it!!
I know that a lot of bloggers are reading my posts. Can you relate to this? Or do you already have a solution for this? What is your formula?!
Anyhow, the OOTD. I was wearing this look to the Ilovefashionbloggers event. Dressing up for (fashion) events is even more difficult to decide, because you want to dress to impress. You are basically your own living business card right there. I chose for the usual ‘casual chic’, which represents ‘Hashtag by Lily’ in general. It tends to be more on the chic side, with this pencil skirt, heels and Moschino belt. The crop top tee did the casual part!
