Digital Addiction

In contrast to the summer photos on the first days in Sicily, it got much chillier on our last day. Perfect opportunity to shoot my new coat that I bought last minute at the Zara sale the day before. Happy to add this lovely blue coat in the colorless (winter)coat collection of mine.

After days of shooting photos, we were kind of lazy on our last day. Therefore not an ‘official’ shoot that you are used to with a lot of details, but a few here and there takes during our stroll in Catania.

As a blogger I am constantly spotting photo opportunities to shoot fashion, food and beautiful sights for the blog and social channels. I am quite the addict when it comes to this. Installing Snapchat (username: hashtagbylily), doesn’t help either. I don’t know when to stop! I just get the kick out of sharing a gorgeous photo.

I know that this annoys a lot of people and I totally understand. I mean, taking photos before you can finally eat, asking someone to take a picture of you wherever you go or catching a cold because we want to show our outfits without the coat. Where are the boundaries?

I personally just hate to waste a good photo opportunity. At the same time I of course try to enjoy and live that moment and the picture is a nice reminder of that sweet time. I am sure I am not the only one with this ‘dilemma’ in this digital era. How do you cope with this?! Can this photography addiction coexist with having a good time and enjoying the moment?! Or do we need to go to rehab for this digital addiction? Love to hear your opinion about this.
