CHINA TOWN LONDON

— Personal —

Two months ago I was “worried” that I wouldn’t have travels in August. Well, I am laughing now, because I am away every single week. I just got back from Hamburg yesterday and right now I am packing for Benidorm tomorrow. What else can you expect? Next week I am flying to Vienna to have some time off and the week after I have a press trip to Nice.

With so much traveling these days, I find it really really hard to keep up with the blog. I am doing my utmost best (stay up until 2 am still working), yet I have to reduce the articles from 5 to 3 a week for now. I still keep capturing all the adventures, so you will see it anyway, but with a delay. I hope you understand :)

— The Look —

I feel strong connections with my roots wherever I go. I speak the basics of Cantonese, which allows me to order my food in the language, the most important aspect anyway ;P You know, you get free drinks sometimes at Chinese restaurants, just because you speak the language? Those are the perks of having a Chinese friend ;)

Anyhow, this shoot was taken at Leicester square London, where China town is located. Just like Hong Kong and China it is really crowded. My skirt actually accidentally matches the gold of the boards. Gold/yellow is a prestigious color in the Chinese culture, it signifies neutrality and good luck. We all can use some luck right?
