The best part of blogging is that you can run this business anywhere in the world. So of course I was delighted to incorporate this vacation in the blog. Especially because I could bring the Asos collaboration with me, knowing that I will look at my best with beautiful unique backdrops (–> the first & second Asos looks). That would make every blogger happy right?! ;)
This outfit was actually one of the looks that I wore to Tokyo Fashion Week. But back then we couldn’t make proper photos, because the shows were in the evening. Well, I am actually glad that we have saved this shoot for Kyoto, as this is exactly one of those rare spontaneous shoots where everything falls right into place. Like I have planned this all out from the beginning.
I really would like to have all these credits, but we came across this deserted alley really just by accident. It’s the contrast of the ancient feeling of the environment with the modern touch of this look. The perfect location to shoot this royal Asos skirt, don’t you think?
This skirt is such an outstanding piece, so chic and so elegant. These deep plum colors definitely fit the setting with its oriental touch. I made sure to twirl in front of the camera to show you all the angles of this remarkable skirt.
Another great thing about this skirt is that it looks much more expensive than it really is. And that is why I love shopping at Asos so much. Their own labels pick up covetable trends, providing cutting edge wardrobe for very affordable prices! I mean, I feel like a trendy royal queen in this look!
